St. Margaret’s Church is planning to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee with a service to include bells and the flag at 11am on Thursday 2nd June. This will be followed at noon by planting a Platinum Jubilee Oak on the Green. This will have a plaque stating: “Planted on 2nd June 2022 to mark the Platinum Jubilee of HM Queen Elizabeth 2nd on behalf of the communities of Chipstead, Hooley. Mugswell and Netherne”.
