Updates About what we are doing in Hooley

Following a recent meeting in November with Highways England, the following matters were discussed in relation to Hooley. Hopefully, we will see some improvements in the near future and it was agreed by all at the meeting, the improvements discussed, all had safety and wellbeing at the core:

As you will have hopefully noticed, the Hooley Residents Association purchased and affixed a number of large Poppy and Tommy lamp post signs along both sides of the A23 Brighton Road and along Star Lane to remember those who, have lost their lives in conflicts around the world and those who have been killed as a result of terrorism. Saturday 11th November 2023 at 11am on the Church Green At the 11th Hour on the 11th Day of the 11th Month, We Will Remember Them. Two Minutes Silence. A lone piper will play before and after the two minutes. The names on the Memorial, who gave their lives, will be read out. You are invited to attend. When you go home, tell them of us and say – for your tomorrow we gave our today. Sunday 12th November at 10am, Service of Remembrance will be held in the church:
