Rain/Flooding 9/5/2023

Following the torrential rain which fell in Hooley on Tuesday 9th May 2023, there has been flooding and damage caused to many households. If you have been affected in any way, you are advised, in the first instance, to contact Reigate & Banstead Borough Council, to inform them of what has happened to you / your property and to register your concerns, in particular about possible future incidents of a similar nature. You should also seek advice about what to do now, where you can get help and what will be done to prevent a recurrence.

You may also wish to inform your insurance company to see if they can help in any way?

The Hooley Residents Association has also contacted our local councillors about this incident and has provided several photographs of the damage caused.
