There is a proposal that Surrey’s current county council and 11 district and borough councils are reorganised into two new unitary councils – East Surrey and West Surrey.

If this all goes ahead, we in Hooley will become part of East Surrey. Maybe Hooley should then be given an appropriate East Surrey postcode and not a London Borough of Croydon associated postcode which, amongst other things, means we pay more for our home and car insurance than those with other Surrey postcodes!! ‘Have your say’!
